Plattsburgh YMCA receives $15K from Lenny's Shoe & Apparel
PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh YMCA’s capital campaign received support from
Lenny's Shoe & Apparel, who have generously donated $15,000 toward the campaign to
build a new state-of-the art YMCA facility in Plattsburgh.
“Lenny's has outfitted working folks in the Champlain Valley since 1990,” Todd McCarthy,
co-owner of Lenny's Shoe & Apparel. “Just as we outfit people in the blue collar and healthcare communities with reliable clothing and footwear, the YMCA focuses on enriching the lives of children and meeting the challenges of an aging society. These are all important missions for our area, and we are proud to support them.”
The Plattsburgh YMCA’s capital campaign kicked off two-and-a-half years ago and
continues to make positive strides to create a one-of-a-kind community center.
“Lenny's is committed to the North Country community and provides support to the many amazing causes in our region. A huge thank you for supporting our vision for a new facility. We are grateful for you and all you do for the Plattsburgh YMCA and the North Country. Together we are building a stronger community,” said the Plattsburgh YMCA.
